Dr. Scannell received her medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester. She served her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. She is an instructor at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in the Department of OB/GYN.

Dr. Scannell is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society and the Worcester District Medical Society.

Dr. Scannell was named to Boston Magazine’s Top Doctors in 2006 and Best Doctors, Inc in 2007.
